Baldacchino Brønshøj Vandtårn, BFA exhibition, 2019
Stoneware, concrete
With references to Bernini's canopy in the St. Peter's Church and the concrete buildings of modernity, the work points to a European history in which (wo)man's view of itself, their own meaning and justification, has had disastrous consequences for a common planet. The sculptures grow out of the darkness of the Anthropocene, seek balance points, and stretch towards the light.
